Catalog and Sharing
Import existing resources
The Moiki EDU catalog provides you with stories and reading paths created by the teaching community. When you import a project containing a story, it is automatically added to your personal space.
These imported stories become fully customizable: you can adapt them to your class level, modify the vocabulary, adjust narrative complexity, or integrate elements specific to your teaching context.
Stories imported from the catalog have some restrictions to preserve system integrity: they cannot be exported in JSON format or duplicated. These limitations do not affect your ability to edit and use them in class.
Contribute to the catalog
Your creations can enrich the catalog and benefit other teachers. To share a story, first integrate it into a structured educational project. This ensures that your contribution is part of a clear and well-documented educational approach.
The sharing process highlights your work while maintaining the pedagogical quality of the catalog. Each contribution undergoes validation to ensure its educational relevance.
Variants system
When you import a project from the catalog, you can make changes—whether in the project itself or in the linked story within a reading path.
The catalog allows you to share your modifications as a variant of the original project.
Catalog project with a variant
There are 3 types of variants:
- Simple variant: could be an adaptation for another level or a significant modification of the reading path or the story.
- Improvement / correction: choose this mode to suggest an update to the project. The owner can decide to include these modifications in the main project or publish them as a variant. In the meantime, your version will appear in the variants list with a pending badge.
- Translation: choose this mode to propose a translation of the project into another language. These variants have a special status and will be highlighted differently. Avoid mixing a translation with other major modifications.
