Class Management

In Moiki EDU, there are two types of classes:

  • Public classes, shared across the institution and visible to all teachers (with a MASTER subscription)
  • Private classes, which each teacher can freely create to organize their own groups

Creating public classes​

If your institution is connected to GAR, no action is required: classes are automatically added as teachers and students log in to the platform.

MASTER subscription (outside GAR)​

If your institution does not use GAR, the subscription manager (the person who subscribed to the MASTER plan) manages the creation of classes and students.

Each class has two pieces of information:

  • a short ID, useful for quick identification
  • a name (you can use the same value if a distinction doesn’t matter for you)

Public classes can also be created automatically via the student CSV import.

ECO subscription​

Teachers with an ECO subscription cannot create public classes.

Creating private classes​

All users, regardless of their subscription, can create private classes.
These classes are only visible to their creator and allow you to set up custom groups outside the official institution structure.
