Student Management
The way students are managed in Moiki EDU depends on your institution’s subscription type.
There are three situations:
- If your institution is connected to GAR, everything is automatic. Students are created and linked to their classes the first time they log in through the ENT.
- With an individual subscription (ECO), each teacher directly manages their own students from their dashboard.
- Finally, with a MASTER subscription outside GAR, management is centralized: only the reference account (the subscription manager) can add or remove students.
Via GAR
With GAR, no action is required: students appear and are synchronized as they log in.
Standard accounts
With a standard account, student creation must be done manually.
Creating student accounts
There are two methods.
The first is to add students one by one from the teacher interface, entering their basic information.
The second, faster method, allows you to import a CSV file containing a list: Moiki EDU then automatically generates the necessary login credentials.

Sharing login credentials
To ensure data protection, Moiki does not allow the creation of student accounts with email/password.
When your subscription is created, a login link is automatically generated:
– personal for an ECO subscription
– shared across the institution for a MASTER subscription
Each student is assigned a unique code associated with this link. You can download these codes in two formats:
- PDF: generates personalized cards with a QR code (login link) and the student’s code. These cards can be distributed at the beginning of the year and kept by students.
- CSV: contains the full list of credentials for one or more classes. This file can be used for mail merge distribution if your ENT allows it.
The QR code is very practical on mobile or tablet but may be less suitable for computer use.
In this case, we recommend distributing the cards (PDF version) to your students and also sending them the login link via your usual communication tools (ENT, digital planner, etc.).
Collective management tools
To save time, Moiki EDU offers bulk actions: easily export credentials for student distribution, assign an entire group to a class, or delete several accounts at once.
